Rasmussen & Weihe was founded in 1968 by Carl Vilhelm Weihe. Before coming back to the Faroe Islands and establishing the company, he had been working as State Authorized Public Accountant in Denmark.
In 1993 Klaus Rasmussen became partner of the company after being appointed State Authorized Public Accountant, and the name of the company was changed to its present name.
In 2007 Klaus Rasmussen decided to leave the company and State Authorized Public Accountant Hans Laksá became new CEO of the company.
In Nov. 2009 we changed our company name to NOTA.
NOTA former Rasmussen & Weihe has a through knowledge of Faroese business environment through a longstanding operation in the Faroe Islands. We also have obtained a considerable knowledge regarding the prospects of an evolving offshore oil industry in the Faroe Islands.
